Does anybody know of online colleges similar to WGU that also offer at least certifications?

I'm not aware of any. However, if you don't have basic A.A. General Education courses, straighterline is a fantastic place to get those. Their courses are very inexpensive and can be completed on your own time. They also transfer to the majority of universities as well, including WGU.

Never heard of straighterline, looks like a great option to pick up credits for those who need them, and very affordable.

Like WGU how? Price, ability to take as many courses as possible, certifications? I don't know any other like that. On the cheap side I know UAT is almost as low as WGUs and they have a Brick and Mortar school in AZ.

Are you sure about the price? Maybe I am missing something, but I see $11,025 per semester.

WGU is $11,560 for 4 terms.

Price is 1 factor, as well as being totally online, and offering certifications, and regionally accredited.

Interesting school, UAT. If your right about it being cheap, it may work!

UAT is $6175 for the online school, $11,025 for the year. The only draw back is that you can only do, I believe, 18 credits a semester. Total cost comes out higher then WGU and they do not offer certs. I was looking into UAT back when I was looking for a college and went with WGU because of the cost, certs and ability to do as much as I wanted at my own pace.

I had never heard of straighterline. This looks like a good alternative to brick and mortar. Keep in mind that one can CLEP out of many basic college courses also.
