Entry-Level Positions in the Sacramento Area

I updated my resume per suggestions on this board. I appreciate all the help.
I'm actively applying to jobs I come across on Dice, Monster, and Craigslist. I've applied to 4 internal positions at my current job (was already turned down for one), and am trying to learn how to career network. My resume is in the hands of an IT professional I'm currently taking a class with at CC, and someone here on the boards.
Honestly, I'm open to part-time or nights and weekend gigs even to start. I work a 4-day weekly schedule (10 hour days) and really want to make that career transition. In the meantime, the A+ cert is getting closer and closer to being a reality.
If anyone here knows of any entry-level jobs in this area willing to overlook experience for someone who can learn quickly and will put in the effort, please let me know.
I'm trying to not get discouraged but every position I've come across wants experience and certs. How do you overcome this? I have an interview next week with Robert Half Technologies just to get my name out there. I guess it's a step in the right direction.
I'm assuming, though, that finding jobs will get easier after breaking in to the industry.

If anyone hears of any openings out here please let me know. -

The market for a lot of things is dry there. Are you unable to relocate? Bay area has jobs, but you'd still want to move a little closer probably to avoid a super long commute and living there directly would probably be too expensive. -

I won't move without a job lined up, though, and you can't line up a job without experience (a catch-22). I'm thinking it may be a bit easier when I get my A+ cert
