Greetings, and a wonder about something

I have been looking for a new site to join for my IT Certification dreams. The one I belonged to before just seemed to be in the dark ages now. Been looking at this site for about 2 months now, and I think I may have a new home Greetings to all!

I am studying for the CCNA, and using, Odum, Lammel, and Netsim. Just a question about Netsim if anyone knows:

I have a 2610 Router, 2950 Switch, and two VLANS with some PCs in each VLAN connected to the switch. Everything is fine and dandy, except I can not ping the default gateway IP address on the router from any PC. Does anyone know what could cause this? I have check all the IPs, subnets, sub interfaces on the router interfaces, the encapsultation on router and switch, and the trunking settings on the switch. PCs can ping PCs, just not the router interface. Just thinking it may be a bug in Netsim but not sure. I will try again later. The bug could be in my config

can ping PCs, just not the router interface.

Can a PC from one VLAN ping a PC in another VLAN? That would prove that the info is routed through the router and it 'should' be pingable.
