Passed today with an 857!

Just passed the 70-270 this afternoon with an 857. Questions are very long and it took quite a while to get through them to answer the question. One of the answers was somewhat interactive. It had a list of the system services and you had to choose what category the problem was under. A few with exhibits. Know group policies and users and how to change them and configure them...That was a large part of the test. Now it's on to the rest of the MCDA stuff!

questions are kinda long. so do lots of practice exams to get the feel.

um it was a while ago that i did the exam, so cant remember much.

but i guess be sure to know your NTFS & share permissions, RIS, Authentication protocols, port numbers for common protocols (http, rdp, etc), local and group policy, remote assistance, disk management, volumes and partitions, um well thats all i can think of atm.

i also got a weird question on bluetooth, wasn't expecting it.

oh and be sure to understand the i.e. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx /xx type of subnet mask. forgot how you call that stuff, vlsm or something.

I received the e-mail from MS about 10 days ago...they put a time restriction on it of 14 days to register, but I don't believe anything happens if you don't register...still awaiting my MCP cert....
