Moving from Technical to Management

Thinking of moving from InfoSec Technical position to InfoSec Management.
Any advice/thoughts/experiences/comments/(do and don't)/(lessons learned) anyone want to share? Doesn't have to be InfoSec field, general IT field is good enough. Doesn't matter whether you have done the move or not, all are welcome to share!
