Is anyone planning to attend any conferences this year? If so, what training will you be taking?

DerbyCon! for sure, maybe a couple of BSides that are close enough.

Tickets will probably sell out, so get one soon. I heard that they set a single day and weekend alcohol sales record at the venue, and this is the town that is in the middle of bourbon country and hosts the KY Derby. So there is always that. Infected Mushroom is this years band, last year was The Crystal Method.
