ratbuddy Member Posts: 665I used the same paper, but went back through and changed tenses from future to past. I also added about three or four pages worth of new material to satisfy the new requirements. Passed first try.
Tech writing took about eight hours start to finish, and capstone took maybe three hours, definitely much faster/easier. -

The competency matrix was kicking my ass I thought I had to list the classes Prob n Statistics, Proj managment, etc in the table until they clearly said you have 2 of this 0 of this, etc. A quick copy and paste and it passed.

Capstone complete! Capstone finally graded its been in the queue for the last day. I'm pretty sure they take extra long for the capstone to make you sweat. Wish this was the end of my journey but still have 2 more classes left until completion Linux 101 and Linux 102. -

@dmarcisco How difficult was the Linux exam? -
Legacy User Unregistered / Not Logged In Posts: 0 ■□□□□□□□□□It wasn't to bad I used cbt nuggets video series and the testout practice exams from WGU. I practiced it in a ubuntu environment. I was a bit worried about this exam but I got a 770 out of 800 which surprised me! It was a lot of multiple choice and if you played with linux in the terminal window you should be able to spot which choices are just flat out wrong.

Linux lx0-102 passed today!!
I'm all done!!! Finishing my degree has been a 10 year journey. I'm grateful for this website and everyone who recommended WGU. I wouldn't have ever found out about WGU. I'm now a college graduate!! Thanks to all of the folks who helped me out. -

@ratbuddy I considered going into the MS especially at WGU since I liked the program but I want to move on from my current place and to do that I need to sharpen my skills. Finishing school has been the only thing that had been holding me back from dedicating 110% of my time on digging deeper into the knowledge needed for the certifications I want to do. The game plan is to work on my CCNP voice and CCNP rs in tandem and knock out a good chunk in 6 months time. Planning on living in the debugs and packet captures for some time and I can't wait.
