Fairly general question in the title as it depends on enterprise v. SaaS and what type of security. That said, generally speaking who are the best companies in this industry from large to start up?
Thanks!

If you're just learning about the infosec space, one place to check out are the sponsor lists of the major security conferences. The larger sponsors are a starting point, but it doesn't necessarily mean they have the best products. Sometimes it means they have really strong marketing dollars.Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/ -

Most people probably know them for their two-factor tokens, but they make a number of other offerings. Ever since the breach a few years back and their initial PR response, I think their reputation started going downhill ... especially with the recent discussion about the NSA and their BSafe cryptographic implementation.Hopefully-useful stuff I've written: http://kimiushida.com/bitsandpieces/articles/

Seems like a larger org would be more willing to take on a person with strong sales experience, but lacking in security (to start).
I'm looking in Boston area.
