Well, after taking a pretty hard hit last week with getting passed up on a job that I thought was in the bag, I got back on the horse and landed another interview. I must say I am very excited about this one, a really important factor at this point in my career is advancement opportunities as I have every intention on being a Network Administrator within one years time. The job is for a very large credit union, it is an entry level desktop support position but the company has 19 locations in this state alone (MN) and several others throughout the country. This is the most exciting part of this potential position for me as this suggests that there is a need for dedicated individuals to manage their network infrastructure. They seemed receptive to my salary requirements over the phone as well. I will be going in tomorrow afternoon, until then I will be brushing up on the company and my game plan. Here's hoping!!!
If you havin frame problems I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but a switch ain't one

bugzy3188 Member Posts: 213 ■■■□□□□□□□Thanks for asking! it’s tough to say, I really did my best to be prepared for this one even going as far as to create a 1 page **** sheet equipped with answers to “give me an example of a time you…” questions both “negative” and positive, questions that I had planned on asking them, and general information about the company. I didn’t bring this in with me but I did study it in the car before going in, this actually helped a lot. With that said, the entire interview consisted of a series of about 15 “give me an example of a time you…” questions so I ended up having to pull some things from the top of my head which I was trying to avoid. I feel as though I was able to demonstrate the skills needed for the position except for scripting which I think may be my Achilles heel here. Over all I feel as though I made a good impression, and now I rest firmly on a bed of egg shells waiting for a response. I will keep you guys posted if I hear anything back.
