MCSE Officially!!!

Just passed the 70-414. I am finally MCSE certified (once my transcript updates). I used a lot of the resources posted on here including a lot of TechNet. Right now - the material available for the 414 in book form are a bit scarce. I went in thinking I was doomed because I heard the R2 updates were out. If I had any R2 questions, I must have missed it. R2 wasn't specifically mentioned in any of my questions but your mileage may vary. I hear they are out there.
Not a lot NDA allows me to say but I think it is safe to tell you that you will really want to know when to use the different parts of System Center for this test. Know what Operations Manager does. Know what Service Manager does. etc. etc. Virtualization was also fairly prevalent on my test. Again, I didn't see any R2 questions. Had there been any, I think I would have failed because in the mistaken believe they wouldn't be added until the end of April, I purposely didn't look at R2 material so as to not confuse my self. I ended up with a fairly solid 820 but I was stoked to get anything over a 700.
It has been a long journey to this point for me with lots of stops and starts. I am actually glad that the MCSE is a requirement for me to keep my job because it became a motivating force.
Thanks go out to everyone on this forum with a special shouts to Thegg and Asif. Absolutely critical help guys both of you. The support on this site is awesome.
I will continue to go for more certs. I am thinking Private Cloud next but I may go Desktop Infrastructure.

Congrats! I am thinking of possibly doing the two exams for Desktop Infrastructure as well. Only to renew my MCSE's. -
