cloud certificate on resume

would you guys advise using the rackspace cloudu certificate on my resume?

    To be honest, it doesn't have much name recognition, nor is it a proctored exam. While I wouldn't put it in my certification section, I would consider adding it to my education section. This lets the future employer know that you are proactively gaining knowledge without the stigma of an unknown certification. Some companies are very weary of new or unknown certs (which is due primarily to a view point of if it works, why fix it). Just be certain to brush up on the knowledge required for that cert, since many hiring managers will question your knowledge on anything that is on your resume. Consider any info you put on a resume as fair game to be questioned (it is the equivalent of you bringing it up).

    I would. In my head I imagine in the interview them asking what that certificate is and it gives you a chance to talk about your skills . all else fails it won't hurt you at all.
