Switch to "New" BS - IT program or not?

I was talking with my mentor today and she mentioned that I can switch to the "New BS IT" program. Has anyone taken the C298, C220 and C221 classes? Am I better off sticking to my current program or not?

Here are the classes that I would have to take.

New program
CJV1 - Database I - 4 units
C298 - Web Programming - 6 units
C220 - Operating Systems I - 3 units
C221 - Operating Systems II - 3 units
Technical Writing and IT Capstone

Current program
CJV1 - Database I - 4 units
KET1 - Introduction to Programming - 4 units
KFT1 - Obejct Oriented Design - 4 units
Technical Writing and IT Capstone

You also have a third option. You can swap KET1 & KFT1 for TXC1, TXP1, TYC1 & TYP1. These courses are two java exams and two java projects. I made that change to avoid the whole needing a partner thing.
