ive been given a book on a+ by david groth anyone used it>?
i having a little trouble on the remebering sockets.
also how many actual questions are there on the actual test?

Read the tech notes here they are pretty good.Working for Network+, Server+, CCNA, Security+, CCNP, CCIE. MCSE.
Bachelors Degree in computer information Systems.

frankj1247 Member Posts: 111I used the Mike Meyers and Exam Cram books, they were pretty good.
Just remember the OS exam is a little bit more difficult than the Hardware, so don't go into the OS exam all gung-ho after you kick some #$% on the Hardware exam.

i got two cds withthe david groth, where one was videos like the cbt nuggets, and the other cd was the whole book documentation in pdf format, with flash cards which can be d/l on palms or printed off!
quite good the book is £45
just a quick show of hands who is in the UK?

visit www.Comptia.org they have all info on A+ certification including how many questions. Site also has some example review of A + cert. questions
Also, i have (read a book) by Mike Meyers "a+ certification All -in-one guide" very good one esspecially 4th edition. i saw 5 th one but i also saw too many negatives reviews...so i decided to stick with 4 th edition.
