I took Security+ this morning and passed, this will be a nice add-on for my WGU transcript. My material was Darril Gibson book, flash cards using StudyBlue, and Professor Messer Security+ videos. My recommendation is study your ports, firewall rules, and types of encryption.

I will most likely be doing network+ next and then a+. The a+ deal sucks because i already have it from back in 2004 when it was a lifetime but WGU does not accept anything older than 5 years old so I am forced to retake it. I am going for Bachelors in IT w/Security emphasis starting 7/1.
