Woot! Woot! I passed on try #2 last night. Got 640 the first time 3 weeks ago and 770 the second, now onto 70-411 what are the recommended books we are all using? Preferably something with labs to follow, I have a good home lab to build with.

    Congrats!

I would suggest the Microsoft Offical Course material for the 70-411. So far I have found those books to be the most comprehensive. You can get the kindle version for less than $100 usually whereas the physical copy is usually over that.

I don't wanna make the mistake I made the first time with the terrible exam ref book.

Yep that was the one. I have found the course material books to be wildly helpful. They aren't and end-all resource but they are better than most of whats out there, in my opinion.

I also recommend getting a "reference" book on Windows like Mastering Windows Server. I would review subjects that troubled me and that helped a ton.
