I need to block yahoo email. Can anyone give me the IP range for their mail servers? Thanks.

I think there are too many. An nslookup will show several, but it could rotate your results. Here is a quick output:

C:\>nslookup

Also keep in mind it may be better to block by host name if you have a proxy, since it's really probably the web servers you want to block. Something like http://mail.yahoo.com. I got this on dnstuff.com:

I do have a proxy and I don't need to block yahoo.com just the mail. I am blocking mail.yahoo.com and login.yahoo.com, but it's not working right. I need to block this https://login.yahoo.com/config/mail?.intl=us and I think it would work just fine.

It's like I mentioned, they use a rotating DNS method because of the large number of servers they have. I don't think blocking by IP is a good strategy. A proxy server is what's needed, or else add a DNS entry on your system to resolve mail.yahoo.com to 127.0.0.1.

But anyway SilverBullet your NSLookup must be cheating if it's better than mine.
