Hi All

By any chance anyone aware of any good DEVOPS Certifications? Where to start and how to go forward?

I think the AWS Certified DevOps certification is your best bet, altho not the only one available.
Other than that, it seems like a good GitHub profile and demonstrable capability in some of the associated tooling, and an understanding of DevOps culture + Agile methodologies is where you'd go next -- be able to talk the talk instead of certifying.

Also, since DevOps is more of a cultural movement, focused on communication, you might want to spend some of that time you would have on the certs and do some social networking instead. Meetups are a popular, easy way of networking with like-minded individuals. There's also a breadth of conferences and many of them offer scholarships to those who need them.
    Goals for 2018:
Certs: RHCSA, LFCS: Ubuntu, CNCF CKA, CNCF CKAD | AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS Certified Security Specialist, GCP Professional Cloud Architect
Learn: Terraform, Kubernetes, Prometheus & Golang | Improve: Docker, Python Programming
    To-do | In Progress | Completed

Puppet has a good certification program, but experience matter more in the DevOps world.
Certs: GSTRT, GPEN, GCFA, CISM, CRISC, RHCE

I actually disagree about experience being important for DevOps roles. I think raw skills are more important, and the will and ability to learn. Things move so fast in that realm, and years of prior experience actually seems to hinder a lot of people from keeping up with the pace of things. Not to mention the word DevOps is only few years old, as well as a lot of the technologies and concepts that it encompasses. It's hard to find people who have 10 years of "DevOps experience."

The one thing I'm having difficulty discerning, however, are the top 3-4 skills needed for a DevOps role. There so much to learn, it's hard to figure out where and what to focus on, and what to leave up to learning on the job.

@DoubleNNS: I fully agree with you. I should've explained myself better...what I meant to say is knowing how to script things in python (even in a lab setting) and an appetite for automation (would be great if you can automate things at current job for example) are looked upon very favourably - more so than certifications IMHO.
