Does completing CCNP Security recertify my existing CCNP R&S?

I have completed CCNA & CCNP R&S back in 2013.It is going to expire in 3 months.
Now, I want to do CCNA & CCNP in security. (Possible for me as I work in security consultation department anyway).

So I was wondering, if I complete CCNP security, will my existing CCNP R&S certification would be re-certified?

Yes. I believe it does. My CCNA Security renewed my CCNA R&S, while not the same level, it seems the same logic would apply.

You don't have to complete the full certification, you simply would have to pass ONE CCNP level exam...so in the case of Security, complete one of the four required.

I might focus on one CCNP r/s level exam to recertify in the next 3 months, I'd assume the ccna sec will take around that long itself, I don't see any way of passing the NA level and one NP level exam within 3 months for Security without going to the dark side...
