CCIE lab support ticket a waste of time or no? Very bad lab experience.

It's not a waste of time. Depends on which CCIE you took. For the CCIE Collaboration, you might have a chance since there is a little less virtualization. If it was R&S, then it would probably be a waste since there isn't usually any hardware problems on a 100% virtualized lab. I know there is a support staff that does actually sit near the physical place where the lab is placed. You just have to get the proctor to open the ticket which is sometimes a bit difficult... -

There are sometimes issues with the virtualised routers - you can run into bugs and lockups etc, but I suffered no such thing in my lab. I know you can restart the routers yourself through a control panel though. -

It all worked out in the end. Despite the many many issues with my rack on lab day I managed to pass.
And just an FYI, the support ticket was a total waste of time. The response was just a generic email outlining their policies. I doubt they even read the ticket.Working on CCIE Collaboration:
