Anti-Money Laundering certification?

I used to work at a financial institution in IT and came across one of the clients who had a Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification on his wall. And I thought to myself, this has to be awesome after all the wall street scandals. Hmm.. CISSP and AMLS on your resume... there has to be a market for such a person.

Any thoughts on this certification here?

I suppose it would align with forensic accounting things. niche market would mean high pay if the work exists, but i cant tell you what the market supply/demand looks like. would be worth looking into.

A quick search on Linkedin shows that there is a market for this. Seems like CISA/CRISC cert in combination with AMLS cert is commanding six figures and many of the Big four institutions pay the premium.
