Tips for designing and implementing folder permissions on a AD environment

Anyone has come across any white papers or any blogs that provide tips on designing and implementing folder permissions correctly on a windows environment. Our folder structure is a mess and I've been tasked to fix it.

Options636-555-3226 Member Posts: 975 ■■■■■□□□□□folder permissions or folder hierarchy? permissions really aren't that hard. root folder, sub folders. groups whereever possible and solo accounts only if absolutely necessary. permissions inherit as much as possible. if the folder is set up well then it's usually pretty easy
