Oddly worded. Caused me to over-think some questions.
But I'll take it!
Very few encryption & port particulars (which I knew cold). Dagnabit!

    Cangrats,

    I take mine a week from Friday. Any pointers? You said that there were few ports and encryption. Those are the things I am boning up on. Is there another area to focus? Not looking for answers, just a direction.

    As far as study materials: Mike Meyers, Sybex, Measure Up, Exam Cram Practice Questions, TechNotes

    If you are looking for a large database of practice questions, Exam Cram has 753 questions. It definitely helped by rephrasing the material in a way that didn't simply reflect what I just read. I looked at Syngress for anything additional, but it just told me what I knew.

    Exam advice: just know everything about the objectives
    I didn't have much on encryption and ports, but you probably will.
    Know DRP, BCP, risk assessment, policies vs standards vs guidelines, acceptable use, incident response policy, etc.
    In other words, all of the fun paperwork crap that everybody hates.
    It kind of comes natural for me. I used to work for the federal government.
    I spent your task dollars creating paperwork.

    Thanks for the info. I will definately need to look over the procedural stuff again. I read it a couple of times but did not spend as much time on that as the other material.
