Test in 2 Weeks
Hi, I've been taking dozens of practice
exams, and I noticed some disturbing results.
On some tests I score in the high Eighties, and
on some tests the low Sixties. This tells me a lot,
that despite all my studying, it will be very easy
to fail this test depending on the type of questions I
get. And I'm sure the Comptia questions will be more
technical then some of the simple exams questions I've
been Doing. What is your advice Please. Thanks, Rick

I appreciate the advice, I am studying hard and
stumped on many obvious questions, I think I am

Exam questions are always harder than practice exams.
Consistent scores over 90% usually mean that you're ready for the exam.
I strongly advise you to reschedule.No matter how paranoid you are, you're not paranoid enough. -

Thanks, yes I am concerned the exams are harder, is the
"language" of the exams also more technical, scary, and
filled with high tech acronyms to throw you off ? I am
delaying it till early November now based on my knowledge

If you know the material, then the technical terms won't throw you off. You'll know them.
However, some questions can be worded differently than you've seen before or sometimes just vague. Very often there are two or more answers that may meet the question's requirements. You have to choose the best one (or the one you would try first).
In a real-life troubleshooting scenario, you would ask the user additional questions in order to pin down the problem. So such luck on the test.
So you see, the technical jargon & acronyms are the least of your worries (unless of course you don't know them, then your goose is cooked).No matter how paranoid you are, you're not paranoid enough. -

thanks, would you say I would need to know ALL of the
acronyms to pass the test, or just some of the main
important ones ? Could I figure out the acronym if I have
a good understand, and can follow the question ? thanksRichard Krenzel -
