Wireless# or CWNA

I have net + and work like a network administrator and technician since 2003. I will like to get a new certificacition and wireless is my decision. Which certification I should get Wireless# or CWNA. Now in my job we are not working with anything wireless but I think in the future will do and also is field that is growing.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Also, there are several topics in the Wireless# that aren't in the CWNA.gabilan wrote:Now in my job we are not working with anything wireless but I think in the future will do and also is field that is growing -

The CWNA only covers 802.11 wireless networking (http://www.cwnp.com/exams/pw0100_objectives.html). Wireless# covers a wide variety of wireless communications technologies, including Bluetooth, WiMAX, ZigBee, RFID, VoWLAN, and Infrared (http://www.cwnp.com/exams/pw0050_objectives.html).
A typical IT tech will only need to know how to administer and troubleshoot 802.11 networks. Unless you will be specifically working with the types of wireless technology covered on the Wireless# exam, I'd suggest going for the CWNA first and the CWSP after.
