Hi, after getting my Masters in CS, I completed CCNA and CCNP. Now I am working for a small business and need to change my profile to security field/network security.
I have fair knowledge in Python and Ruby on Rails. Please suggest me some good course which I can do.I am new to this forum and hope my question is in right place

Do I need to start from scrap for CEH course as in the link? I have experience in programming as I said and hope I don't need to spend more time on the second course(I am married and at present I can't spend much time on a lengthy course )

Define lengthy? You can take a 5-6 day SANS course for GIAC offerings which are highly recommended. I'm married with children and managed to take SEC504. Hoping to take SEC503 soon.

CEH is popular with HR so could be worth looking into, but not an absolute necessity.

Have you considered CCNP Security or do you want to move away from vendor specific certs?

Think about CISSP in the future.
