802.3bz
This standard was ratified by IEEE a couple of days ago. It specifies the transmit speed of 2.5 and 5 Gbps with support for PoE. It means you will be able to get more use of your cat 5/6 cables without rewiring everything to fiber.

Cisco has something similar called Multigigabit Ethernet and it looks to be proprietary.
