CWTS for sales related position

In you opinion would this certification make sense for a solutions architect type role? Someone who answer RFP's and does presentations?

It's in the smart metering industry, so there are a lot of wireless coms in this space.

    If you're dealing with basic considerations and principles of wireless networking, then I say "yes". While I haven't yet taken the exam, I should sit for it in the next couple weeks, and based on the study material the CWTS hits the basics, gives you some concepts to consider, etc. If you're getting pretty heavily into wireless networks in your RFPs and presentations, then the CWNA is much more a consideration. I do like that the CWTS is a "lifetime" cert though, so if you take it but aren't working with wireless all the time, you at least have the cert for your resume to show you understand some basic wireless.
