How many CPE's are required in the year i pass the exam? Are they pro-rated based on the month you pass?

If I pass the CISSP in April 2017, how many CPE's are required for 2017? Or if I pass in November...?

The 3 year certification cycle is based on when you certify and not on calendar year so there is pro-rata involved.

If you pass in April 2017, your cycle will be April 2017 to April 2018 and you will need 30 cpes.

Actually, I've heard people's cycle starts at least the month after they finish the exam. It might start 1-2 months after you pass because of the endorsement cycle.

My official CISSP date is 12/28/16 and my CPE's and fees are due by 12/31/17.

I passed in early January, my cycle is March 1 to Feb 28. They start the cycle after they finish validation.

    And it's 40 CPEs annually
