Have you ever failed a certification exam and decided not to take it again?

Curious if anyone has ever failed an exam and then decided, for whatever reason, that they didn't want to try it again. Maybe you decided after-the-fact that it was a bad idea to take it in the first place, or maybe it would just cost too much money, or maybe you found a better avenue/cert to pursue. I failed the CCENT recently, There's really not that more material to study for to take the full CCNA exam. I'm studying for the CCNA exam now, depending on how well I do on the CCNA practice exams, I will probably skip the CCENT retake and go to the full CCNA.

Still searching for the corner in a round room.
