Network topology software

Hi guys , so I am basically looking for a software for drawing network diagrams which is of course free.
so what you guys are currently using and your feedback about this. hope I am not in the wrong forum.

    I just have Visio, which isn't free - although I have a $10 personal copy of Office through my work organization. (Also, if you are a student you can get a cheap copy of Office 365.)
    There might be a trial version of something on the market, you can probably Google it and do your own research.

    I've been using draw.io a lot lately. Free, online and great for simple to moderate complexity diagrams.
