Starting with Exchange server

in Exchange Server & Office Communications Server Exams
Good day!

I'm kinda new here.

I just want to ask, if I want to become an exchange admin, do I need to take the full course of MCSA server 2012? Or just the AD part of it?

    And also, does Microsoft still offer exchange certification? I kept on being redirected to Office 365 instead. If in case, exchange certification is no longer available, will Office 365 be an alternative?

    Exam 70-345: Designing and Deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 grants you a Microsoft specialist even if you aren't already MCSA certified and also counts for MCSE: Productivity granted you have MCSA in Windows Server 2012 or Office 365.

    Either of exams 70-341 and 70-342 count for MCSE: Productivity but they require you to already be MCSA: Office 365 or MCSA: Windows server 2012 certified.

    Correct me if im wrong, I need to be MCSA certified first before I can take Exchange 2013 or 2016?

    No, you can take exam 70-345 and get a standalone certification called "Microsoft Specialist: Designing and Deploying Microsoft Exchange Server 2016" without being MCSA certified.[h=2][/h]
