Security + question

Sandmanx001Sandmanx001 Registered Users Posts: 1 ■□□□□□□□□□
I was recently hired and was told I have to complete Comp tia security plus within 6 months. The company offers no training and I have no IT background.

I know it is not going to be easy but would like recommendations for where to start. Books, apps, online, prep test.

Thank you,
J

Buy Darril Gibson's book and his online resources. Well worth the investment.Good luck. Pretty crappy of the company not to pay for it. Will they at least reimburse you for the test??

I also recommend Daril Gibson's book and his practice tests from his website. Most people pass with just Gibson material.

Quizlet.com can also be a good resource for flashcards and memorizing material. Search for SY0-401
