Hi everyone
We're having trouble with certain people on the network running bandwidth intensive applications (or having viruses on their pcs) and as a result bringing a whole network to a complete standstill at times.
I wanted to know the command used to display the bandwidth utilized by every ip on the network. I've seen the command used once but I can't remember it.

It is called ip accounting and is enabled in interface configuration mode.
So if I had a router (with a T1) that went out to the internet I would monitor the serial interface with ip accounting. It tells you source/destination IP along with bytes transfered and # of packets.Now working full time! -

if you want to see it live, use the ip route-cache flow command on the interface and then sh ip cache flow. The flows will only show while active (actually about 15 seconds after they cease) before being flushed from the report.

make sure cef is enabled as your switcing metheod ....rm -rf /
