Sub $5000 InfoSec training

mataimatai Member Posts: 232 ■■■□□□□□□□
Any recommendations for infosec training that costs less than $5000? I have a hard budget I can't go over but I do want to use up the money. I'm considering OSCP and SANS work study but am also looking for other suggestions.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Cisco, splunk, more that I can’t think of off the top of my head....I would go for SANS though because OSCP isn’t that expensive to self fund.

Really depends what you want to do imo. Looking at your cert list it looks you got everything pretty well covered! OSCP... CCNP Sec... Master's degree...

I'm probably naive but couldn't you just subscribe it ITpro.tv? The have a GSEC course and a lot of other security videos and labs for a pretty low price.

You've got a lot of quality certs already. What about doing a 1-4 day live training at a con? CanSecWest should be close though a bit pricey IIRC.

Yeah but if $5k is on the table, it would be wise to use every last dime. :)
