What up ya'll,
So I have been wondering the difference between these two certs I know the DOD 8570 differences. But...as far as information and knowledge. Which do you think is better looking for insight. Price difference between the two is crazy. Should I watch C|EH vids and take the CSA or are they completely different?

Let me know....

Thanks Ya"ll

CSA+ will be better for hands-on experience. CEH looks better on the resume but isn't in high regard amongst infosec pros in the know. CEH is kind of like your Security+ but focused mostly on hacking stuff. My vote would be CSA+ between the two.

CEH is red team, CSA+ is blue team.

It would depend on your interest...but if you were going to spend $1,000 on CEH, I would look at SANS work study instead unless your work is forcing you.

I'm with this. Pick your poison on which you want more.

Although, you do get to call yourself a certified hacker around people with the CEH. I hear the chicks dig it.
