70-534 Passed! MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure complete!

I got in just under the wire since they are retiring this exam and replacing it with 70-535. I see why they are doing it too because 70-534 was a BEAR if you are not a developer. The SCCM exam or really any of the others would have definitely been an easier way to get my MCSE than this one, but by the time I figured that out I was already in too deep.

Prep was my usual, Pluralsight Videos, CBT Nuggets Videos, Microsoft EDX Videos, some free ebooks on Azure that I saw a link on here and of course lots of labbing. Understanding why and when to use the different roles and the vertical and horizontal scaling is very important, also all of the SSO / OpenAuth, Service Bus and different notification scenarios including cross platform.

I'm moving into a Security Engineer role at my current company January 1 so I'm not sure how much this will help me going forward, but I always was jealous of folks who had their MCSE's so now I'm on the team! Now I have 9 days to finish my SECFUND for my CCNA Cyber Ops (only on chapter 3 out of 13 OMG!) so the celebrations will have to wait. Oh and my VCP5-DCV expires in February too so I have to renew that one too. No rest for the weary.
Up next: On Break, but then maybe CCNA DC, CCNP DC, CISM, AWS SysOps Administrator

Congratulations Kyrak! I'm currently studying for 70-533 and 70-535 after that. How long did it take you (days/weeks/months) to study and complete 70-534?

It probably took me 4 months or so, but I wasn't that devoted to studying due to work commitments. If you have already done 533 you will have a big leg up because there is a lot of overlap from what I have seen when it comes to topics and concepts.
