i am moin. i just want to know how can i we install a new hardware, and uninstall hardware in linux. also who can we configer the modem in linux, what is the procedure of it.if any body can help me...

As for modem in Linux, refer to http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Modem-HOWTO.html http://tldp.org/ is the best source I recommend.
