What does everyone think about the new CCIE NT?

Seems like they should have given more time for the migration exam:

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Networking Technologies (CCIE NT) program incorporates networking architecture, engineering, implementation, troubleshooting, and security skills to support the full suite of Cisco networking and security technologies with solutions using the latest industry best practices. Successful candidates will be able to connect and secure systems and environments at an expert level with respect to both established and new networking technologies, as well as be able to mitigate modern security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. CCIE NT will replace both CCIE R&S and CCIE Security. All CCIE R&S and CCIE Security certification holders will be given until July 31st, 2018 to take the CCIE NT Migration exam (400-509), which will convert their current CCIE R&S or CCIE Security certification into the new CCIE NT certification. After July 31st, all CCIE R&S and CCIE Security certifications will be retired and the migration exam will no longer be available. If any CCIE R&S or CCIE Security certification holder does not take the migration exam by July 31st, their certification will be effectively revoked and they will have to take both the written and practical lab exams for CCIE NT to recertify.
