I am ashamed that this information is so stale. I really need to clean it up with a new thread.

    Hey Guys,

I stumbled upon some free training/certifications from QLogic on the FC, Ethernet, and CNA products. They provide free online training, and you take a brief exam at the end of each module. Check them out!
Obtaining certification is the best way to demonstrate your skill and knowledge of QLogic Products. There are two levels of Certification and each level has different requirements. The Associate level focuses on Product and Technology introductions and is best suited for those in a sales-oriented role or want to learn about the features and benefits of QLogic products. The Specialistlevel is more technical, and best suited for those who will install, configure and support QLogic products.

    Ethernet Adapter Technical Professional (8400/3400)
    Adapter Associate (Fibre Channel)
    Adapter Specialist (Fibre Channel)
    Adapter Associate (Converged Network)
    Adapter Specialist (Converged Networking)
    FabricCache Associate (QLE10000)
    FabricCache Specialist (QLE10000)

The Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) on Pan-OS 6/Pan-OS 7 is a great free accreditation. The technology is pretty fascinating, and the accreditations can also be used to satisfy CompTIA continuing education requirements for Security+.

Another cool free one is the Zerto Certified Professional. https://www.zerto.com/myzerto/ I am not sure if you need to be a customer first, but I believe you can just sign up for a free account and take the training and certification.

I know Mile2 isn't like a heavy hitter out there, but after I signed up for the veteran/first responder promo I ran into this. Looks basic AF but hey. It's free this month. It's Mile2's Certified Security Awareness 1 cert.

This is a fantastic deal if you can get it this month before it ends. I took their Pen testing class 6-7 years ago, they are pretty solid. I've purchased a new blog domain, and am working on getting all of my data organized again as well as finding new items. So far this is what I have on the free certs side after 18 hours of data crunching (As an aside, there is a disproportionate amount of Japanese specific programming certifications to parse through in hopes of finding an English one from the vendor) -

Has anyone managed to get this? When you give your email and subscribe you get a code "CSA2018" which you're supposed to enter at checkout. Checkout says to use PayPal for 100% discount vouchers. Doing so doesn't reduce the amount. Do they expect us to pay and then them refund us?

I figured it out. Shipping address has to be in the "United States". It will work outside the US though.

I have the order confirmed email so what's next?

I dunno guys, it's pretty simple. You create an account. You order it and put in a coupon code when you check out. Pretty easy.

For the second time, they've banned my account for no reason. I wouldn't call it "pretty easy". It a bit of a joke if I am honest.
