I remember when I took grade 12 advanced functions and relations...somebody thought that an Integral was a constant, because they saw the formula integral of x dx = x^2 / 2 in any case, I think that there is indeed much to do with education, and how kids are brought up. I no longer hear about kids shooting hoops, or playing ball hockey, or going over to a friend's house for a project. Children and teens are now concerned about expensive clothes and shoes, or beating the next video game....
