Hi there,

I come from East of France, currently working in infosec. I browse this forum for many years now and was very useful to get some certifications.

I currently  have  : McAfee product specialist - ePO (2017)
Comptia Security+ (2018)
PRINCE2 foundation and practionner (2018)
(isc)² SSCP (2018)

I planned to also do TOGAF this year but dropped the idea. My plan for 2019 is CISSP.

    Thanks all.

Meggo : I'll probably go for Sybex 2018 edition as main reading, and will use the official CBK for the toughest topics (for me).

Reading the CBK is certainly wise! Best of luck with your studies, and please do tell us how you do!

Hello, I just wanted to tell you that I finally passed CISSP today - yes there were some delays. 2019 wasn't an interesting year and I lost the will of studying. I manage to get motivation by end of December, finished the Sybex Book, watched videos of Kelly on Cybrary and did all Boson test exams twice.

I dropped Togaf. I gave a try to Cobit 5 foundation but they released the 2019 version and it killed the few motivation I had last year

Congratulations on the pass, @Luckan! What did you think about the difficulty compared to your study material?

It's hard to say. Boson exam was very useful to get used of the typical questions trick, but otherwise I found the real questions not very difficult but mostly tricky. Nothing very technical nor very deep for "management" questions. Cloud questions were numerous and I didn't study a lot on this topic...
