I should be focusing on my defense next week, but brain is filled new project I'm supporting.    :(  Did manage to update the presentation deck and finish the talking points. Just need to practice some more.
Good luck Dave, my VCDX partner is defending in Palo Alto on Tuesday in the Network track, you can reach him on Twitter @vScripter or ping me on Twitter if you guys want to link up, he'll be in PA and free tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer. Unfortunately I'm not flying in until Tuesday morning.
Well best of luck to you then mate, I assume you are defending the NV track? I'm VCDX:NV - ping me on Twitter DM if you need me.

Nah. NSX part of this SDDC is pretty basic, so defending DCV.

Nerves got the better of me. Messed up easy questions.  Will be sweating it out for the next 10 days, but not expecting much.

I felt the same way after my defense. Was already planning the re-defend when the results came through.

Here’s hoping that your results come quickly. Think mine came in 2-3 days.

Waiting is the worst part, my defense was the week before VMworld so I had to wait almost three full weeks, I suspect we'll see results faster this cycle because Christmas is bearing down on us. My partner feels good overall about his NV defense, but is worried a little about how he did in the mock scenario. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks guys. VCDX presents an interesting challenge since the last time I did a pure vSphere design is 2014. It's been about SDDC and complete holistic solution since then (lots of technology to keep track). A lot of the deep vSphere stuff I used to know just don't come to me as quickly as they used to.

Just got notified that I didn't pass. Considering all the things that went wrong, the result isn't too surprising. I need to update the documentation for work (noticed some errors), so will probably try again.

Hmmm.... have the holidays to fix things and submit 1/4/19 for March defense. Am I such a glutton for punishment?

Decided not to resubmit this design. There's another design I'm working on atm (NSX-T, VIO, PKS). Probably submit the new design later this year.
