I've gotten to really dislike these. For me, personally, if I get a tech book in PDF, I never look at it again. But physical copies? I'll pick those back up.

If these bundles were more expensive, but had physical books, I'd be all over them.

Different strokes for different folks. I like PDF's so I can quickly go through them and search.

For me programming books are best in PDF since I can pull them up next to an IDE or text editor and work right alongside it.

Same here, my kindle is an absolute must for any of my IT books. I try to get them specifically for the kindle when I can because I don't have to manually send them to each device where I have a kindle on because pdfs don't convert well to kindle format in my experience. Also, staying in one place for a long time isn't an option for me due to married life, work and school, so I'm lugging around my laptop to most places I go to and I appreciate not having to carry 10+lbs of books, lol.

I love PDF's I tend to not pick the book up lol at least for technical based books. Other books, novels, etc I like to sit back and open the actual book from time to time.

I have hundreds of tech books on PDF. I can't imagine where in my already-crowded house I would put the hardcopies. I do, however, prefer my novels to be in hardcopy.

    I prefer hardcopies for studying.

It's easier to study from as I can look at multiple pages simultaneously to compare. Also, when I'm done I have something to donate to someone else who might need it.

That all said, I find myself often studying from PDFs because I get them either free or very reduced in price.

Picked this up yesterday - thanks for reminding me! I've been looking into building a web scraper with Python, so I'll definitely be checking that out this weekend.
