did anybody take cvoice in year 2006?

Can someone share experince in cvoice exam?

I am preparing to take the exam but bit worried since I wont have any exposure to call manager till next year jan(when I will be attending minicamp for call manager)

    know dial-peers like the back of your hand. It will help alot with the simulation.

    I'd focus mainly on the following 3 areas:

    1. Dial Peers (pots and VoIP)
    2. Signalling Types (T1, E1, PRI, FXS, and FXO)
    3. SIP, H.323, and MGCP server types and common configuration problems

    Also know Codecs and how to calculate bandwidth usage, including overhead for both LAN and WAN connections. Expect a couple of QoS questions too, so if you've taken that exam it will help.

    Oh yeah - also number expansion and translation profiles. Those were two unexpected suprises!

    This exam is heavier on troubleshooting than one would expect.
