I passed this evening! I'm so happy and relieved it's done. Been studying off and on for a couple years now and made a bunch of stupid excuses about not getting it done sooner, but now it's finally done.

All I used:

- Wendell Odom OCG (heavily)
- Alan Johnson 31 Days Before Your CCNA (lightly)
- Packet Tracer (tons of labs from Network Academy) (heavily)
- Scott Empson Portable Command Guide (lightly while labbing)
- home lab of routers and switches (lightly)

I also have just been studying this stuff for a few years on and off.

I used Boson software but I really wasn't too satisfied with it. Maybe it was just me. I took the tests but I kept seeing content in them that wasn't anywhere in the books I was reading or on the exam topics, slightly discouraging. They're definitely tougher than the actual exam, at least the one I took.

Anyways, don't do what I did and keep putting it off. Study and get it done.
