Any ideas to get relevant CPEs for GPEN?

Note: something that doesn't involve passing another certification/exam

Apparently with GIAC, CEH is a yes, but OSCP is a no. Really GIAC? I wonder if Youtube Defcon would count for a good portion of this. I just did an OWASP Meetup.com meetup, which was basically a Youtube live stream, so perhaps something a few of those.

    EDIT: There we are

    A+, Network+, CCNA, LFCS,
    Security+, eJPT, CySA+, PenTest+,
    Cisco CyberOps, GCIH, VHL,
    In progress: OSCP

Thanks mate! I need to find something soon to get some CPEs. Didn't think I'd worry about it as I was happy to let them expire but my current employer wants to use my certs in proposals so I need to maintain my two GIAC certs.

What about listening to some of the webinars? They count too. You can find them on the SANS website.
AWS, Azure, GCP, ISC2, GIAC, ISACA, TOGAF, SABSA, EC-Council, Comptia...

SANS offer some free summit.. 6CPE per days. The theme of the last one on Oct 9th was Cyber Defense.  Great content as usual :)

Surprised no one has posted a link to the actual renewal page: https://www.giac.org/certifications/renewal

They do not allow you to renew from just webcasts alone.  You will also need to hit a few other categories.  They have also been running a few publically available NetWars competitions which also count for 6 CPE: https://www.sans.org/blog/and-now-for-something-awesome-sans-launches-new-series-of-worldwide-capture-the-flag-cyber-events/
    2019: GPEN | GCFE | GXPN | GICSP | CySA+
    2020: GCIP | GCIA
    2021: GRID | GDSA | Pentest+
    2022: GMON | GDAT
    2023: GREM  | GSE | GCFA

WGU BS IT-NA | SANS Grad Cert: PT&EH | SANS Grad Cert: ICS Security | SANS Grad Cert: Cyber Defense Ops SANS Grad Cert: Incident Response

Question, for SANS webcasts, can I get the CPE counted if listened to an archived webcast? I just can't make the live webcasts due to time difference

the easiest way with SANS is to participate to their summit.. many CPE to attend webcast.
