MC3810v for CCVP

sexion8sexion8 Member Posts: 242
Johnny5, this was more for you, but for anyone else taking the CCVP not wanting to buy modules and the router to push them (36xx, 2600), I'm sure the 3810 would be enough for 642-642, 642-432, 642-425... I just had to reset it after a firmware upgrade. Not using 12.3 yet though since it would break my home network...

I might bring one of the 3810's to my work lab, not sure yet, I have fxs and fxo WIC's on a 3620 already. I have to set up a gatekeeper soon, and do some other stuff before I fully dive into that. I've gone through the CBT nuggets about 8 or nine times for CCVP (642 & 432) so there isn't much I can tinker with right now. I do VoIP stuff all day professionally so there is little I feel I'm learning at this point. I'm more into diving into RFC's (SIP/H.323) for security purposes than I am into CCVP studying...

    Dynamips..... and Voice... hum.

I'm trying not to get distracted as I prepare for my R&S Lab Exam, but I can't help wondering about the possibilities.
