I still have my materials - books, usb, audio files.
Will these materials be sufficient to pass the exam?
And are they not yet outdated

The SANS training materials and GIAC exam content for each SANS course is typically updated twice per year at the least. The three-year-old materials you have still contain good information from which to study, but will not contain all of the information you may see on the current GMON exam.

See if you can get your hands on a practice exam to test your knowledge you acquired years ago.

I'm going to vote, no.  Three year outdated material isn't going to cut the mustard. When you take the course and pay for the exam, your guaranteed the exam version your taking is based on the material you possess, even if you pay to extend the exam period several times. When you fail to sign up for the exam, when taking the course, you get what ever the current rev is; if you try to take the exam at a future date.
