Is a bachelor degree in software engineering worth it?

so I'm looking at what degrees to get once I complete my associates. I'm thinking about attending WGU after community college and was thinking about software engineering or computer science. I was wondering does a software engineering degree hold any merit? or should I go for a bachelors in computer science?

CompTIA A+ is a good base cert - should help you gain basic understanding and get into IT tech position... If nothing else, someone with "just" a degree has lower chance of getting in than someone with degree and cert everything else being equal.
