Congrats mate, great job. How did you take the old exam though, I thought as of 01/01/07 people are required to take the new exam.

Cisco Network Academy Students have until December 2007 to take their "old exams."

I think 2 of the 4 semesters have been updated, and there are still a couple of months before the 2 new courses are available -- so there are still CNAP students taking the "old courses." It wouldn't be fair to make them take the new certification exams or stop their studies for a year and wait for the new courses.

I think someone who took the old BSCI course gets to take the "old exam" while someone taking the new BSCI course now will have to take the new exam.

Thanks for your clarification Mike. That is kind of nice, I'm probably going to register for a CNAP just so I can take the old exams.

I am a Network Academy student, and until now thought I would need to restudy for the new material. Can anyone point me to more information on how I can take the old exams?

You have to take and pass the appropriate CCNP class in the CNAP course for the exam you are planning to take. After this is done you have to ask Cisco for a voucher. A Prometric center must register this voucher for you. You can not take the old exams at a VUE center
